Pure Pore ASMR (“the game”) is an iPhone and Android game made by Merve Gökdağ. This page explains in plain words what information is used while you play.

In short

What is stored on your phone

The game keeps on your phone which areas you have cleaned, how many areas you have finished (to work out how often ads appear) and whether you bought “Remove ads”. This stays on your phone; deleting the game deletes it too.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads using Google’s AdMob service. To show ads, measure them and prevent abuse, Google may collect and use information such as device details (model, operating system version), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, your interactions with ads and, if you allow it, your device’s advertising identifier.

On iPhone, when you finish your first area, Apple’s permission prompt asks whether the app may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. If you say no, your advertising identifier is not shared; you still see ads, but they are less tailored to you. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

On Android you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your phone’s Settings › Privacy › Ads (on some phones Settings › Google › Ads); once deleted, ads are less tailored to you.

How Google uses this information: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Purchases

“Remove ads” is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment and your card details; we only learn that the purchase was made, so the ads can be switched off.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
